Work Capacity Do you have it?

Young Athletes and people these days have trouble stringing multiple movements together repetitaly in a giving duration. I see it all the time in my gym. I will give them a super basic base line of:
3 rounds of
400m run
40 air squats
30 sit ups
20 push ups
10 pull ups

all basic movements that should be finished in under 20 mins in my opinion. The pull ups can be assisted i know that is a strength that most don’t come in having right off the bat. But its not the pull ups i find to be the issue in the full body training, movements done fast and aggressively , and the sheer will to destroy the work out!

Last time I check speed kills and the strong strive….

So with that being said before you worry about your bench number and squat. Worry about your GPP (General Physical Preparedness )

Your Bodyweight movements should always be a focus for i think that they are the ultimate key to athleticism. If they get easy they are multiple ways to challenge yours self with adding weight or changing angles etc.

Back to the topic if you want to be valuable as a athlete you will have great work capacity and the strong will to to be relentless ! Train how you play and be ready for the unknowable!
